Please note: the "Tuition Fee" is used by your course coordinator for course expenses (postage, hirage, photocopying, suppers, guest speaker gifts, etc), not for personal gain - as might be implied by the term "Tuition Fee"! How can I run a course in my area? To qualify as a course coordinator you must have completed both the Standard and Advanced courses, and attended a weekend coordinator's course. There have been rare occasions when a cross-cultural mission experienced person has coordinated a course while studying ahead of the class. This is not recommended. Contact the National Coordinator for more details. What if I have to pull out of the course early? We encourage coordinators to allow you to pick up where you left off, with a future course, at no extra cost. Due to the nature of the course no refunds are available unless the study material is in resaleable condition. The registration fee cannot be refunded. Can I do Advanced Perspectives before the first one? The initial Study Program lays an important foundation which teh Advanced course then builds on. Can a house be built before the foundation has been laid? Do I have to do Advanced Perspectives as well in order to graduate? No.Perspectives is designed to be self contained. Certificates are issued at the end of each part of the course. What denomination or stream of Christianity developed this course? The Perspectives Study Program is an inter-denominational oriented course, developed by American Evangelicals well respected in the international Christian mission scene. Articles in the Reader (Textbook) are written by experts from many different walks of life, areas of training, and Christian affiliations. The one thing that drew the contributors and developers of this course together was a passion to see the Church motivated to action, committed to partnering with God as He unfolds His revealed plan for the world. What doctrinal positions does this course endorse? The program encourages participants to concentrate on keeping the main thing the main thing, while putting aside 'secondary' issues. The point of the course is that God is one who reveals himself (supremely in Jesus Christ), interacts with humanity, and is working out a plan to reconcile to Himself representative people (a church) from every tribe, tongue, nation and people - who will glorify Him in all the earth. |
